Environmental Review
Teams undertake an environmental review of their school. Participants comprehensively investigate a variety of issues from energy efficiency to waste reduction in a manner reflective of how a professional Environmental Consultant would review an organisation.
With guidance from our team of experts, students provide solutions to issues identified through the environmental review considering cost, viability and implementation strategy. Any existing initiatives that schools are undertaking or planning to undertake are included.
A PowerPoint presentation and a 3 minute video clip of each environmental review is delivered at the Enviro-Challenge™ event with the opportunity for inter school knowledge sharing and Q&A.
Key environmental performance indicators are uploaded the Enviro-Challenge database to establish a baseline for ongoing monitoring of year to year changes. In addition, this serves as the basis for partner organisations to identify areas in which they may assist.
