Audit Race

Waste Audit - Teams learn about resource recovery, waste management issues and the three R’s (reduce, reuse, recycling). Teams are coached to carry out a waste audit and accurately record and report the results. Solutions to identified problems are proposed. Teams compete in a fun waste auditing task at the Enviro-Challenge™ competition.

Energy Audit – Teams learn about energy efficiency, energy use and common energy saving options. Teams are coached to carry out an energy audit and accurately record and report the results. Solutions to identified problems are proposed. Teams compete in a fun energy auditing task at the Enviro-Challenge™ competition.

Carbon Race – Teams learn about carbon emissions and are coached to use their analytical and practical skills to prepare an emissions inventory for their school using real data sets. At the Enviro-Challenge™ competition teams compete in a carbon race carrying out an emission calculation and reduction task under time pressure. Solutions to identified problems are proposed.
