A STUDENT SHOWING PARTICULAR TALENT AND COMMITMENT TOWARDS THE SUBJECT OF SUSTAINABILITY IS SELECTED FROM EACH PARTICIPATING SCHOOL TO TAKE PART IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL AMBASSADORS PROGRAMME.

Effecting change in any organisation requires strong leadership and a depth of knowledge. The Enviro-Challenge Ambassador programme is designed to furnish young leaders with a raft of skills, knowledge and experience to be able to bring about positive changes in their school

A student showing particular talent and commitment towards the subject of sustainability is selected from each participating school to take part in the Environmental Ambassadors Programme.

Ambassadors work with experts from the environmental industry over a five day residential programme to explore environmental problems and seek out solutions that can be implemented within their own school.

Ongoing support for Ambassadors is provided by the Envro-Challenge team and the strong peer group that is formed as a result of the residential experience. This support base increases capacity for Enviro-Challenge Ambassadors and teams to improve the environmental performance of their schools whilst also increasing self-esteem, leadership skills and deepening environmental knowledge.
