Enviro-Challenge is an innovative and exciting Education for Sustainability programme and high-school Environmental Management system.
Education for Sustainability
Education for Sustainability goes beyond awareness raising and into bringing about positive environmental and behavioural change. The Enviro-Challenge programme is designed to deliver environmental change through a variety of mediums that are attractive and engaging for participants.
Environmental Management
Enviro-Challenge participants are trained by qualified Environmental Managers to carry out internationally recognised Environmental Audits. Students are supported to implement changes that bring about a positive and measurable environmental benefit.
Personal and Social Development
Environmental change requires strong leadership and range of social skills including formulating a convincing argument and communicating effectively. Enviro-Challenge participants are trained in these areas in order that they are furnished with the skills to lead change and drive progress within their schools.
Enviro-Challenge is currently operating across the upper North Island with plans to extend to other areas in 2011. Please contact us to get involved.
Your support is always welcomed by the Enviro-Challenge team and participating students.
